15 Months
Health: He is weighing in at a whopping 25 pounds and 2 ounces. Caleb still has 8 teeth , but the doctor said his 1 year old molars are coming in and that he is also working on a few more. Still has his pretty blonde hair, but we gave in and had our first little trim. We have had a healthy boy this past month...Praise the Lord...mommy got the flu but somehow Daddy and Caleb avoided it.
Nutrition: No more bottle...YAY!!! We are still drinking about 6 ounces of milk in the morning to get our day started off right and at the same amount at night to help him go to sleep, but drinking it from the Nuk sippy/ trainer style cup and the rest of the day we are drinking milk or water from a regular sippy cup. We have added a few new foods that were a SUCCESS! He has learned how to feed himself from the little fruit/ applesauce pouches and is LOVING them. He normally has one or two a day. He has also started eating Mickey Mouse chicken nuggets now that mommy started cooking them in the toaster oven and not the microwave :). Not very nutritious, but we have a little cookie monster on our hands. In the sweetest and cutest little voice he is constantly asking for "COOOOKIE"!
Sleep: He is still a great sleeper. We normally get at least 9 straight hours of sleep :)
Toys: LOVING going to his playroom downstairs and playing with his basketball goal. This is probably his favorite toy for now.
Skills: With all of the talk of the holiday season we have learned several new words. We have learned a turkey says " Gobble, Gobble", that Santa says, "Ho Ho Ho", "Snowman" which sounds more like "No Man", and my favorite is him saying "Jesus" and pointing to the nativity or wanting his " Away in a Manger" book to look at Jesus. He is pretty much repeating ANYTHING we say.
He also LOVES looking at pictures and books and pointing to people or things and saying who or what they are, and if he doesn't know he LOVES to ask " Who's that?" or " What's that?"
Clothing: We are still wearing 12-18 month and 18 month clothes now and still in a size 5 or 5 1/2 shoe depending on the brand. We are still using Pampers and he is wearing a size 4 in those.
Oh my goodness each month when I write these blogs I think it just can't get any better or any more fun than it is now, and then the next month comes and its even better than the month before. Every single day with this little stinker is a blessing, a mystery as to what the day might bring, and an adventure waiting to happen. Mommy and Daddy are having a blast making memories with this silly boy!
